We wrote a film called Deirdre’s New Pet.
We also directed it.
The film was VCCP’s 2024 entry for Straight 8 Shootout, a global short film competition.
The rules are simple: one super-8 camera, one roll of film, no post-production,
you must make an original soundtrack, and you can’t see your film until the live premiere in Cannes.
We won silver for the second year in a row. Yay!
